The NHS friends and family test (FFT) is an important opportunity for you to provide feedback on the services that provide your care and treatment. Your feedback will help NHS England to improve services for everyone.
It was introduced in 2013 and asks patients whether they would recommend our services to your friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment. This means every patient is able to give quick feedback on the quality of the care they receive, giving hospitals a better understanding of the needs of their patients and enabling improvements.

All of the team were lovely. I couldn’t have my cataract surgery due to a branch vein occlusion surgeon has referred me to the hospital for treatment. Then hopefully in a little while I can return for my cataract surgery.

A+ What an amazing team at Probus medical centre. My first appointment evening was explained so well. I had total confidence coming to my operation. The nurse who prepped me and saw to my after care was second to none. The operation I had left me very exposed and the nursing staff made me feel dignified and respected. I struggled to understand all I was told, but that was because I was surprised by the Doctor's opinion which was not what I expected. The Doctor was very considerate and helpful. My only complaint would be that I felt a time pressure that increased my nervousness and slowed my understanding
Excellent once booked. Reception wasn't staffed and we waited 5 mins. The consultant was friendly and clearly explained why further treatment was inappropriatel.

My experience at Probus Surgical Centre was excellent in every way. I was welcomed ahead of my appointment time. Reception and clinic staff were friendly, helpful and professional and my pre-op appointment included my particular wishes and requirements for upcoming surgical care. I would definitely recommend this NHS centre based on my experience.

Dr Rosewarne was brilliant and gave me 2 steroid shots for Carpal Tunnel and Trigger Finger that have kept me awake for 3 months Can't understand why my GP surgery didn't oblige Would have saved NHS a lot of money Thank you surgeon I can now sleep at night

In response to a text and appointment yesterday the 18/02/25 I was very satisfied with the care I received. An excellent service , surprised at how quickly I was given an appointment for assessment and the Dr I saw was very pleasant and professional, same goes for reception staff and nurses . Thank you .

The Probus unit seems excellent to me. Unfortunately the people who referred me obviously left it far too late for you to be of help so any complaints I have a fully directed at both my GPS and to this hospital he saw me two days before and should have known that the hernia was far too big for you to deal with. Apologies for any mistakes in this letter because I cannot see very well and have to rely on Google dictation

From the moment I walked in the receptionist was very welcoming, friends and helpful. The consultant and the nurse made me feel at ease and I found them very easy to talk to and they explained things fully.I came away feeling very positive for my upcoming procedure.
Thought it strange that I had to complete consent form plus pain chart prior to my consultation only! Thought I was coming for procedure. Sending those forms prior to consultation is misleading.
