The NHS friends and family test (FFT) is an important opportunity for you to provide feedback on the services that provide your care and treatment. Your feedback will help NHS England to improve services for everyone.
It was introduced in 2013 and asks patients whether they would recommend our services to your friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment. This means every patient is able to give quick feedback on the quality of the care they receive, giving hospitals a better understanding of the needs of their patients and enabling improvements.

All the staff were very kind and helpful, explaining the process and it was very reassuring to have a follow-up phone call the next day.
Consistent with my last visit. All staff contributed to an atmosphere of calm by being professional and friendly. I was reassured by the checking of multiple staff that written details agreed with my understanding of the procedure to take place. During the operation, staff were relaxed and in control and I was at ease enjoying the free “psychedelic light show”. So, a big thank you for a painless and problem free experience.

I was very impressed with the service I received when I had my cataract removal op last Thursday. Right from the beginning all my questions were answered professionally before and after the operation. I would rate the whole experience as being excellent. I know that I won’t be anything like as anxious or stressed when I have the second cataract removed hopefully in 2 months time.

I found both my visits better than A the treatment given was fantastic and the team absolutely brilliant. Everyone was so friendly helpful and welcoming putting me at ease. Any questions they answered and nothing was too much trouble. Parking was hassle free and a lovely cup of coffee at the end of treatment was very much appreciated. All The staff were amazing right the way through the procedure and Surgeon was so lovely. I thank him from my heart for making me have good vision again., there aren’t many second chances in life. My overall experience at Probus Surgical Centre was excellent, this is the second time I have received treatment and can't fault anything. I am experiencing a very Misty eye ,after my operation,the nurse said that it could take a number of weeks rectified, with drops that I have been provided. It wasn’t the same after the first eye that was perfect
Appointment was good
I am happy with the service while I was there. But I had driven 40 minutes for the appointment, and I was there less than 10 minutes. I do feel the appointment could have been a telephone call and saved me the journey.
